Church is one of the best places for community. We have tons of practice spending time together, eating together, and being in large groups, small groups, committees. Church from the beginning, as the body of Christ, is meant to happen in community. For so many of us who have found a home in the church, we have also found friends, support, and a caring community. Which is why we at New Beginnings are trying everything we can to invite people into space where they can create (or re-create) community.

In the midst of a global pandemic, after over a year of being separate from one another, we recognize that the thing people want most is to be together. If we want to invite people into our community, we need to do so in a space that is designed for getting to know one another and for sharing together. That is the purpose of community groups.
